FSI-Meetings

When & Where are the meetings?

Our meetings always take place on Wednesdays at 18:00. During the semester, they take place in the FSI room of the Department of Mathematics (room 00.209) in odd calendar weeks and in the FSI room in Physics (room U1.833) in even calendar weeks.

What’s going on there?

In the meetings, we discuss everything that is currently going on. It usually starts with reports from the various committees, in which our representatives help shape university life and get advice for their committee work. Then it’s often about larger projects and plans that are currently pending in the departments and the faculty. We always like to get involved if there’s any mischief going on or if students are asked for their opinion. In addition, there are always a few events of varying scope to organise, which we always discuss in the meetings and coordinate tasks.

On the whole, routine work and discussions about current events balance each other out, and every now and then a fundamental decision may be made or a harsh discussion may take place. In the end, the meeting usually ends with interesting discussions and a lot of good humour.

Anyone who would like to join us is always welcome to come along to a meeting! New members are always welcome 🙂 .
